The official trailer of Shawn Levy’s directorial, The Internship, has landed online. Featuring Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, the film follows the comical adventure of two salesmen, in their forties, whose careers have been bashed by the advancements in the digital age. They find their way into an internship with the highly acclaimed multinational corporation, Google, where they face the tough competition with the tech-savvy geniuses, hoping to secure themselves a job.
According to NME.COM, Google chairman, Eric Schmidt, had agreed to film a cameo, in which he gives Vaughn’s character an ‘employee talk’. Many other Google employees also signed on to appear as extras on the set.
TechCrunch also reported on Google’s dedicated participation in the film as they allowed the cast to have access to Google’s Mountain View Headquarters, enthusiastically claiming that they were “excited that Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson chose Google campus as a backdrop for their first film together since Wedding Crashers“.
Alongside Vaughn and Wilson, the cast also includes John Goodman, Rose Byrne and Jessica Szohr.
